I’m including this as outdoors and possible more gardens from the prompt list. Today we rocked up at Peter Beales rose gardens in Attleborough. They have covered their rose gardens in 1000s of twinkling lights for the run up to Christmas. The gardens are beautiful anyway but magical for small people at this festive time of year. Everyday as it gets dark the lights are popped on and you can enjoy their garden in a different way. How it differed to last year was that G is now older and more aware to enjoy them. T just loved the bridge and the pond. Chilly, festive fun. Free to enjoy.
Top tips
They have a café, which do mean scones and hot tea plus hot chocolates.
There is a small car park and overfill car park to the front.
There are loos outside near the entrance.
The nature walk was a bit too dark for us to go through but that is worth a daylight visit looking for insects and frogs.
They have a really good selection of gifts. Nanny has been sorted. They had some beautiful Christmas decorations.
The White Lodge pub, a bit further down the road, is well worth a visit too.
